This work was inspired by Monet, a master who loosely used colour, light and movement to push a scene to the edge of its original context to convey mood and enhance its beauty. 

This was a magical day and the colours were extraordinary.  The glittering sun on the water, luminuous green water reeds on the bank, contrasted by deep greens of the bank on the other side in the distance. 

I used movement to delicately interwine these elements in a single frame, creating the final piece.
