This work belongs to my series called "Reflection", captured at Shelly Beach, in Manly, Australia in August 2010. I wanted to explore and reflect on our innate connection with the sea.
On the surface, we connect with the comfort of the known – the water’s wondrous visual kaleidoscope of colour and beauty that lures us towards it; and the cool, relaxing, nuturing feeling of water on our skin.
But beyond the surface lies an unknown world. Our connection with the deep is remarkably different, and our lack of understanding of it gives rise to themes of mystery, isolation, vulnerability and complacency. Limited Edition of 50 Archival Prints
